The different men of print and electronic media?

'What are the different men of print and electronic media?' For every 137 million users of the Internet, there is 181 million users of print. That is 700 million users statistics be damned the fact of the matter is both these media are huge and growing. If they were not then we could turn around and say they are losing relevance the next round of growth is already visible to us is coming from regional markets it's coming from regional languages it's coming from access points which would take because of our infrastructure issues the digital world to reach it will take a few years and until such time I think our friends in the digital world would do really well to figure out what kind of content creates stickiness what kind of content keeps your readers going for 175 years the day. One of these media new digital media completes 175years in the form and the fashion that they started then we should talk in and collectively in India a very strong sort of Seti they are growing they're growing in rural I don't think these two gentlemen will be able to hold their jobs and on the fancy salaries and bonuses that they.

In today's economic climate the digital world we live in online media is becoming very pervasive so this is my dilemma print versus online media is it contest is one gonna win it one gonna lose no I don't look at it that way I think they both play an important role print used to be a dominant way of delivering content now we have online media as a very viable competitor to that take a look at Linked In, Linked In is a perfect example of people are posting comments on Linked. In in articles on Linked In not putting it into trade magazines, they're putting it on LinkedInthat's what they're doing trade magazines I come from a printing background it's amazing to me that the printing magazines are hardly being printed anymore they're all being delivered online we live in a changing society digital will continue to become more prevalent as we move forward I look at my grandchildren and my grandchildren don't use books as they used to they're depending on homework assignments delivering homework assignments there's Google homework that takes care of just about everything they have in school instead of having that big book a bag that I used to carry in the big books all the time now they have a little a laptop computer that they take back and forth to school we're gonna have probably hmm probably swaying I think online media is probably going to continue to be increasing in terms of our lives and how we view media print will probably continue to decrease although prints do not go away any time in my foreseeable future particularly because there's no other way of delivering products like perfume Cheerios food products liquid products must be labeled and packaged but some of the traditional forms of things are declining in nature so that's a dilemma I have hope print continues and we find new ways of handling print like different opportunities that will come to be realized but until then I think we're gonna see more of an increase in digital online media to the detriment of hardcopy print those are my thoughts and ideas on the subject I'd like to hear yours go to my blog go to Facebook LinkedIn Twitter I'm on them all love to hear your thoughts and ideas on but until then see you soon.
